At the February 17 Western Maine Labor Council meeting, Joel Johnson from the Maine Center for Economic Policy will give a special presentation about the Governor’s budget proposal. If you have followed the news, you know that Governor LePage has proposed sweeping changes to our tax structure that will impact who is paying taxes and how much they are paying. The presentation will last approximately 15 minutes, will include a slide show and handouts, and will be followed by a question and answer period.
